Which Title you need to choose for your content? What kind of keywords can possible related to your topic Kids Health? In priority basis which are the keywords you need to focus more in your content? What is the rate of Competition for that particular keyword? Like plenty of question you need to ask your-self as a SEO professional before you start with. It will help you to generate required meta tags (Basic meta description & keywords, Opengraph meta tag,, Twitter Cards & Dublin Core metadata) for your site & pages. This plugin is since 2006. They have better control panel & updated meta related updates.

Page Title & URL Structure

Keep your web-page title & content heading similar. Prefer to use canonical URLs in place of short URLs. For an example if I want to create a content for “How to teach your Kids?”. It’s more SEO friendly to keep the URL structure like “<Your Domain Name>/how-to-teach-your-kids” in place of “<Your Domain Name>/p=237“. Here I mean to say use a permalink structure in your URL that includes keywords. Search engines will show the URL in their Search results. So, Always prepare URLs user friendly.

Use Data Highlighter Technique

During you write a content for your website highlight the keyword related phases in body. Main heading for the topic keep in h1, h2 or h3 tag. During sub-headings prefer to use h4, h5 or h6 tag. If some where inside your content you found some statement which can be more essential for the reader use bold letter. For the initial 80 characters of your content try to use targeted keywords. You can see in Google during a search result Google shows your page title, url & the initial 80 characters as the page description. It means the customer will look the initial words to decide whether he/she want to visit your page or not. Make the beginning attractive.

Repetition of keywords & Internal links

One of the major factor in On-page Optimization is repetition of keywords. In technical world you can say “Keyword Density”. This helps to increase organic traffic. Hey don’t think if in your content you will repeat the keywords much more then the natural it will bring you better traffic. This is wrong. Be natural, maximum 4 to 5 time try to repeat the keywords in your content. Don’t overload keyword repetition. In this point I would like to say experimentally I found by adding a related posts to my content pages it generates more organic traffics for my website.

With keywords repetition internal links helps to increase page view. During a visitor read your content internal links help him/her to find related contents from your domain. Internal links also helps for better indexing.

Create Robots.txt & Sitemap

Robots.txt is a technique introduced by Google to track which are the pages or folders webmaster want to index or block from the total files of application root folder. For an example in your website you want to block indexing for the “Admin” folder located in root directory. In this case robots.txt helps. Some time during live if you found any page is not compatible to Google webmaster policies you can block this url using robots.txt. Add robots.txt in your application root folder.

Blog commenting is a popular technique to gain more visitors. In the cause many webmasters are commenting several blogs in regular basis. If you want to gain these visitors add comment section in your blog. This is one of the On-page Optimization technique. To do commenting in others blog commenters are searching the keywords with “comment” with their search string. If your page is having comment as a keyword, Search engine will show your page to those commenters. In the result you have comments & better traffic.
