Do you realize? It’s not easy to teach a Kid. Plenty of experience required. During you teach your kid sometime you need to behave like an adult (to generate fear) or sometime you need to act like a kid (to make them friendly). English is one of the most wanted Global language. Today from the beginning chapter of education including mother tongue English is very common. Let’s talk about the dates when your Kid is in STD-I or STD-II. After watching their syllabus, do you got this question “Where to begin English for my Kid?“. If so read the below paragraphs. From my experience I can say, this English worksheets for Kids will help you to make your kid easy to Getting Started with English.

Introduction to English Alphabets

At the beginning lesson of English, kids need to go thorough “Introduction to English Alphabets“. First let them know the total number of alphabets. Then Start with Capital letters (A – Z). Before assign your Kid to write English Alphabets first let them guide to identify the letters. For this purpose you can use Kids educational videos or images. To make them easy to remember you can follow a song pattern for alphabets. Also during you introduce an alphabet give them an example. I mean while introducing “A” at the same end let them know “A for Apples”. Show them an image for Apple or use real one. This trick helps to keep them remember faster. Few of the common alphabets related sentences are like the below.

A for Apple | B for Ball | C for Cat | D for Dog | E for Egg | G for Girl | I for Ice-cream | J for Jack | K for Kangaroo | L for Leopard | M for Mango | N for Nest | O for Orange | P for Prince | Q for Queen | R for Rat | S for Sun | T for Television | U for Umbrella | V for Vehicle | W for Watch | X for Xerox | Y for Yellow | Z for Zebra

While presenting a statement related to an alphabet keep remember the objects you used in that statement must need to available easily. For an example “O for Oranges”. Here it can happen your kid will ask you “What is an Orange?” or “How it looks like?”. Off course in this place you can use images to clarify their queries but it’s much more better if you can use the real one. That’s why what ever the statement you use to identify the alphabets make sure the object you use there that need to available for our day-to-day use.

After Capital letters start with Small letters (a – z). When you kid is capable to identify alphabets guide them to write 5 letters a day. For an example in day one your kid can go for A, B, C, D, E & in the next day he/she can learn next 5 letters F, G, H, I, J. But as I told above kids memory is fluctuated memory in day two before going to write F, G, H, I, J letters tell your kid to first write the previous letters. This activity helps to bubble kids memory. The cause they never forget the past lessons.

Introduction to Vowels

Once your kid is capable to read & write English alphabets make them know about Vowels (A, E, I, O, U) & their uses. Unless this knowledge it is difficult for your kids to go further chapters of English. To make their understanding clear tell them how vowel helps during spelling & pronunciation. Here it was advisable to use mother tongue for examples.
