DriveU lets you hire a driver when you need one which lets you travel in the comfort of your own car. This means that you have a driver at your disposal at all times of the day, minus the financial hassle of maintaining a full time driver. Cabs usually tend to disappear just as you need one direly- but all those difficulties are gone for good, thanks to DriveU.
Be it for your daily commute or club-hopping, you can hire a driver using the app. All you have to do is enter your destination and location in the app and a driver is assigned to you. You also have the provision to track the driver’s location as he arrives. Once he arrives, all you have to do is hand over the keys to your car and let the driver do his thing.
Basically a chauffeur service, DriveU lets you sit back and relax in the comfort of your own car, while you are being driven to your destination. You get some new-found personal time, to catch up on social media or make that important call.
Pricing
The main attraction of DriveU services is its affordability, since it eradicates the financial difficulties associated with maintaining a full-time driver. The chauffeur service can be availed at Rs.89 per hour, with the charge being calculated by the minute after the first hour. For drives ending between 10 PM and 6 AM, a night-time charge of Rs.150 is applicable. You can also hire a driver for a one-way trip, where an additional Rs.100 is added as a one-way charge. For outstation trips, the charge for the chauffeur is Rs.1199 for 24 hours, with Rs.599 added every 12 hours. However, the food and accommodation for the driver have to be provided by the customer for the length of the trip.

Payment methods
At the end of the drive, you get a drive summary and a fare breakdown as well, with details of how the fare was calculated.
