Irritation and Anxiety

Both irritation and anxiety can be connected. If you are feeling anxious about something little things might irritate you more than usual. It’s important to find ways to manage these feelings. Simple things like talking to a friend taking deep breaths or going for a walk can help calm you down. Irritation is that annoying feeling you get when something bothers you. When you feel irritated you might want to snap at someone or just walk away. This feeling is often short-lived but it can build up if things keep bothering you. Understanding how you feel is the first step to feeling better. Recognizing that it’s okay to be irritated sometimes and that anxiety is a normal part of life can make it easier to handle these feelings. Remember if you ever feel overwhelmed it’s always a good idea to talk to someone who can help.
