Cooking tips for delicious Mushroom Kasuri Methi recipe

In my daughters birthday me & my family visited a restaurant for dinner. Here occasionally with butter naan I ordered mushroom kasuri methi recipe. Wao really this veg recipe taste is awesome. On the next day I suggested my wife to try this methi recipe on coming week-end. She refer the popular master chef Sanjeev Kapoor’s Khanakhazanz & prepared the same recipe for me. In this session let me share those steps she followed to prepare Mushroom Kasuri Methi at home.


  • Fresh Button Mushrooms – 250 gm
  • 2 to 3 Spoons of Kasuri Methi
  • 2 medium sized Onions
  • ½ inch Ginger & 2 to 3 pods of Garlics
  • Chilli Powder as required
  • Cooking Oil (For better Taste you can use Mustard Oil)
  • Salt as required

Steps to prepare Kasuri Methi recipe

Cut Ginger & Onion in to small pieces add Garlics in this. Grind it well & prepare a paste. Switch on the Gas. Put a Pan. Add some Cooking Oil. When Oil get heat Add the above masala paste. Fry it up-to it looks light brown. Once the masala is well cooked add Kasuri Methi & Chilli powder, mix it well. The Cover this with a bowl. Switch off the Gas.

Wash Mushrooms well. Cut it into circular pieces. Switch on the Gas. Put another pan. Drop some Cooking Oil & fry the circular mushroom pieces well. When mushrooms are well cooked add the above fried masala in it. Mix all well & Fry for 2 to 3 minutes. For better taste add some salt as required. Then to keep gravy add little water & boil it for 10 to 15 minutes.

Now your Mushroom Kasuri Methi recipe is ready. Serve it with hot and soft Butter Naan. I am sure your family and friends will like the taste.
