Forex trading short for foreign exchange trading is the act of buying and selling different currencies. You would need to change your money into the currency of that country like euros if you’re going to Europe or yen if you’re heading to Japan. Forex trading works in a similar way but on a much larger scale and happens all around the world. Forex trading takes place 24 hours a day because it involves markets from different countries. This means that there are always opportunities to trade whether it’s day or night. Traders can use different strategies to help them decide when to buy or sell. Some may look at charts and patterns while others might pay attention to news that could affect currency values.
