Application Procedure to Syllabus things NEET Aspirants need to Know

National Eligibility Entrance Test or NEET is the door for medical aspirants who want admission for MBBS and BDS. this test allows students to take admission across any medical college or university in India. As per the new rule of 2019, NTA or National Testing Agency is the conducting body for this examination. NEET Aspirants who are seeking to crack this examination in the coming years must know the following necessary details.

Application Procedure

Each year NEET is held at a particular date that is scheduled by the examination board beforehand. Candidate who is willing to appear for this examination need to fill an online form and need to keep four copies of the confirmation of the application, application fee proof, copies (at least 5) of passport size photographs and it should be scanned and identical. As per the new rule, candidates are allowed to correct the window if necessary. The fees that are for general castes and OBC is 1400/ and the fee for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender is 750.

Exam Centers

Candidates can choose the exam centers as per their preferred cities and convenience. And this preference must be mentioned clearly during the registration. The regulating body will then get your exam center as per the given choice by the candidate. And this allocation depends upon the choice of the language. There are a total of 10 different languages that a candidate can choose from as per their preference.

Syllabus to Follow

There are four major subjects that a candidate must prepare for the National Eligibility Entrance. These subjects are- chemistry, physics, zoology, and botany. It is always advisable not to waste time by studying anything else that is not related to these four subjects. Students are also advised to solve some of the paper of previous years to grab a clear knowledge of the question papers.

Documents Required

Candidates must bring their admit card as without admit they will not be allowed for the examination. Also, one postcard-sized photograph must be pasted in the admit. And examinees are supposed to carry a passport sized photograph with them.

Timing

The reporting time for the examination is 2.5 hours prior to the actual time. The entry gate will not permit the entrance of any candidate after 9.30 am. Therefore, absolute punctuality is very much necessary. Candidates will not be allowed to use the restroom in the last half hour of the examination. This means you cannot use the restroom from 12.30 to 1.00 pm.

  • Candidates are not allowed to take in personal belongings inside the exam halls.
  • Keep the dress code simple and formal.
  • Make sure that the roll number of the candidate is in the list and also match the seat number accordingly.
